Segments can also be created directly from analytics charts and reports, allowing users to:
- Filter through data
- Visualise insights before defining a segment
- Select multiple chart elements to combine attributes and refine targeting
This method provides an intuitive way to build segments based on behavioral trends and customer preferences.
Step-by-Step Guide
- Activate "Filter Select" in the analytics section.

Select report elements (clusters) that define the segment by simply clicking on them. The total number of selected clusters is displayed both in the report tab and within the blue bubble at the bottom left of the screen.
- Example: Creating a segment of mid-tier NGR customers in the casino vertical, within the youngest age group, whose favourite game is baccarat.
- Click on the Apply icon located in the floating bubble at the bottom left of the screen.
- The total number of customers matching the criteria will be displayed in the corner of the slider.
- For further analysis, open any report.
- Reports will now display data only for the selected segment, refining insights based on the chosen attributes.
- To finalise the segment:
- Click Save and assign a name.
- Click the orange Segment icon to create the segment.
- Alternatively, click on the orange Export icon to export a list of player identifiers in the segment.
- To clear the filtered data and show the original data, click on the green Eraser icon.
Once saved, the segment will be available in the Segment UI for use in campaigns, automation, and further analysis.
