Creating Email Content

The CRM enables users to create a single email object in multiple languages, ensuring dynamic content generation based on customer segments. By using centralised content, specific parts of the email can be tailored dynamically.

When an email contains multiple languages, the system automatically selects the correct language based on the language provided during player registration.

Step-by-Step Guide to Creating an Email

Access the Email Editor

  1. Navigate to Channels → Email Messages.
  2. Click New, then select one of the following:
    • Email Builder – A drag-and-drop block-style editor.
    • HTML Editor – A code-based editor for custom HTML emails.
  3. Both options offer:
    • Multilingual support
    • Previews and personalization tags
    • Centralised content management
    • Image uploads (available only in the Email Builder)

In this example, the Email Builder will be used.

 

Configure the Email Settings

  1. Assign a name to the email (this is not the subject line).

 

 

  1. In the Settings panel on the left, set the email subject and add tags (tags help categorise emails for easy search).

 

  1. Use the search bar to find tagged emails across the interface.

 

Add and Manage Languages

  1. The default language is English.
  2. To change the default language:
    • Select a new language from the list.
    • Click Add Language.
    • Mark the new language as default if needed. Click on the circular icon beside the language to mark as default as displayed below.

 

  1. To remove a language, click the red delete icon next to the language.

 

  1. To edit content in a specific language, click on the language name.

 

Best Practice:

  • First, design the email in one language.
  • Once the layout and structure are finalised, add additional languages.
  • When a new language is added, it inherits the structure of the selected language.

 

Build the Email Content

  1. On the right-side toolbar, click Content.

  1. Select from various content blocks to build the email.
  2. To insert a web view link or an unsubscribe link, use the shortcuts in the toolbar under Settings.

Save and Preview the Email

  1. Once the email is built, click Save.
  2. Switch to the Preview tab to view the email.
  3. To test responsiveness, toggle between tablet, mobile, and desktop views from the top-right corner.

 

 

⚠️ By default, newly created content is set to draft. In order to utilise the content in campaigns or journeys, publish the content. Click on draft and save the email.

 

 

 

Send a Test Email

  1. To preview the email in your inbox, click the Test button.
  2. If an email integration is configured in the account, a test email will be sent to the email associated with the CRM login.

⚠️ Testing in an inbox is the most reliable way to preview an email before sending.
