Retargeting allows users to create follow-up campaigns based on customer behavior in previous campaigns. This feature helps optimise engagement by targeting specific segments, such as customers who participated but did not complete a desired action (e.g., non-depositors).
The one-click retargeting feature, available exclusively through campaign analytics, enables rapid retargeting of engaged customers from existing retention or lifecycle-based campaigns. To initiate retargeting, users can:
- Click on the relevant metric.
- Select the option to retarget customers based on specific actions.
- Proceed to create either a one-off or a dynamic campaign.
This streamlined process facilitates timely and effective re-engagement of target customers.
Step-by-Step Guide to Retargeting a Campaign
1. Access Campaign Analytics
- Navigate to the campaign menu dropdown and select Campaign Analytics.
- This feature is available for both lifecycle-based campaigns and retention-based campaigns (one-off or dynamic).
2. Select a Retargeting Metric
- From the list of available metrics, click on the one to use as a retargeting criterion.
- Example: Retarget customers who participated in a campaign but did not deposit (non-depositors).
3. Choose the Campaign Type
-
One-Off Campaign: Runs once on the current segment of non-depositors.
-
Dynamic Campaign: Runs continuously, detecting new participants who meet the retargeting criteria (e.g., customers who joined but did not deposit within the campaign’s lead time).
-
Click Proceed to continue.
4. Configure the Retargeting Campaign
- Assign a name to the new campaign.
- Assign a name to the newly created segment (e.g., "Campaign Participants – Non-Depositors").
5. Finalise and Launch the Campaign
- The system will redirect to the campaign creation page.
- Review the campaign settings, activate it, and click Save to start.
- The new campaign can be found under Campaigns → Retention.
By leveraging campaign analytics for retargeting, users can create data-driven follow-ups that enhance engagement, recover lost conversions, and optimise customer interactions dynamically.
