Creating SMS Content

The CRM enables users to create a single SMS object in multiple languages, ensuring dynamic content generation based on customer segments. By using centralised content, specific parts of the SMS can be tailored dynamically.

When an SMS contains multiple languages, the system automatically selects the correct language based on the language provided during player registration.

Step-by-Step Guide to Creating an SMS

Creating a New SMS Message

  1. Navigate to Channels → SMS Messages.
  2. Click New to create a new SMS message.
  3. Assign a name to the SMS and click Save.
  4. Add tags to categorise the SMS for easy search and filtering.

 

  1. Enter the SMS content in the provided text field and click on Save.

 

Setting the Default Language

  1. Select the default language from the available options.
  2. Toggle the Default option to ensure this language is used as the primary content.
  3. Click Save to confirm the settings.

 

 

Publishing the SMS for Campaigns and Journeys

  • An SMS message must be published before it can be used in campaigns or journeys.
  • To publish:
    1. Toggle the Status of the SMS.
    2. Click Save to apply the changes.

 

Adding Content in Additional Languages

  1. Select a new language from the dropdown menu beanth the SMS content area.

 

  1. Click Create a New Message.

 

  1. Enter the translated SMS content for the selected language.
  2. Click Save to store the new language variation.

 

Editing SMS Content in Other Languages

  1. Click the edit icon beside the language that needs modification.
  2. Make the necessary changes to the SMS content.
  3. Click Save to update the message.

 

Changing the Default Language

  1. Click the edit icon beside the current default language.

 

  1. Toggle the Default option to Yes to set the new language as the primary content.

  1. Click Save to apply the changes.
