Encryption & Data Masking

To ensure maximum data protection, BetIntel.ai employs AES-256 encryption for data at rest and TLS 1.2 or higher for data in transit.

  • AES-256 (Advanced Encryption Standard - 256-bit) is one of the most secure encryption methods available, used by governments and financial institutions worldwide. It ensures that stored data remains protected against unauthorised access even in the event of a breach.
  • TLS 1.2 (Transport Layer Security) is the minimum standard we use for encrypting data in transit. This protocol ensures that all communications between users and our systems are secure, preventing interception or tampering.
  • In addition to encryption, sensitive and confidential data is masked within the database, ensuring that even authorised users only see information relevant to their role.

 

Access Control

Access to data is strictly role-based, ensuring that only authorised personnel have access to sensitive information. Users are granted the minimum level of access required for their role to reduce exposure risks.

 

Security Measures

To further enhance security, we implement:

  • Firewalls to regulate network traffic and prevent unauthorised access.
  • Intrusion detection systems (IDS) to monitor for potential security threats.
  • Regular security audits to assess and improve system defences.

 

Third-Party Data Handling

We carefully vet and monitor third-party vendors to ensure they meet our security and compliance standards when handling system-related data. Customer data is not shared with third parties outside of the CRM cloud infrastructure, unless explicitly requested by the client—for example, to enable integrations or additional services including but not limited to customer messaging.

 

Data Retention

We retain data only for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. When data is no longer required, it is either securely deleted or anonymised—either upon client request or within a maximum of six months following account deactivation.
