Retention campaigns are designed similarly to lifecycle-based campaigns, offering comparable features and preferences. However, they differ in that retention campaigns can target any customer segment, regardless of lifecycle stage. This flexibility makes them ideal for initiatives such as newsletters, general promotions, and game launches. Retention campaigns can be scheduled as either dynamic or one-off campaigns. Note that they do not support real-time triggers—such as those initiated by customer sign-in or deposit events—which can instead be managed using journeys (also known as drip campaigns or automations).

Allows users to view or modify campaign details. -
Start / Pause / Stop:
Enables users to start, temporarily pause, or permanently stop a campaign. A stopped campaign cannot be restarted; therefore, the pause option should be used if the campaign is expected to resume later. -
Watch / Unwatch:
Users can mark a campaign as a favourite (watch) for quick access, or remove it from the favourites list (unwatch). -
Archive / Unarchive:
Campaigns can be archived when they are completed or no longer in use to maintain an organised workspace. Campaigns are also automatically archived after a specified period, as configured in the global account settings. Users may unarchive campaigns when needed. -
Copy:
This option allows users to duplicate a campaign, along with its associated segment, to one or more brands linked to the account—an especially useful feature for organisations managing multiple brands.

Data Retention Policy
In accordance with the CRM data policy, campaign data is retained for a finite period. After this period, data is archived in cold storage and eventually deleted. This policy is implemented to ensure optimal system performance and can be reviewed in the Knowledge Base under the Getting Started section, Data Policy.
